Submitted Feedback

WPPI is supportive of the proposed process change and we have no concerns with the proposed tariff changes.

The OMS Transmission Planning Work Group (OMS TPWG) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments on the Multi-Value Projects (MVP) Costs and Benefits Review and Reporting Tariff changes. This feedback does not represent a position of the OMS Board of Directors.

After reviewing the tariff changes, the OMS TPWG is supportive of the revisions and agrees that reporting has been a limited review of the MVPs.  We would be supportive of MISO continuing to work on potential modifications to the MVP methodology and its implementation for future projects.  The OMS TPWG would like to see MISO work on identifying metrics that show how, and to what extent, MVPs contribute to system reliability and efficiency during max gen events, how they have contributed to increased flows across and through the footprint, and how they have relieved congestion and/or enhanced renewable generation.

The Environmental Sector supports the proposed tariff changes limiting the requirement for MISO to conduct and distribute annual and triennial reviews only within the initial six years after they are approved in the MTEP.    This should result in no less than two full triennial reviews with additional limited annual reviews to inform MISO and stakeholders.

Respectfully submitted on behalf of the Environmental Sector
