In the March 17 meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC), MISO presented a Quarterly Operating Limit (QOL) process improvement and associated business practice manual changes. Stakeholders were invited to send feedback on the proposed BPM language contained in slide 9 of the posted presentation.
Comments are due by March 31.
NextEra Energy Resources, LLC (“NextEra”) appreciates the opportunity to comment on Quarterly Operating Limit (“QOL”) process improvement proposal. NextEra continues to support MISO’s proposal to use the seasonal near-term MTEP model for the QOL assessment. NextEra agrees that the use of the seasonal near-term MTEP model will reduce unnecessary injection limits. NextEra appreciates MISO’s swift implementation target of Summer 2021 and encourages MISO to remain on course with that timeline.
