MISO is aware of data input error that impacted the preliminary five-minute ex-post LMPs and MCPs for operating day 2/25/2025, for intervals 9:15-9:25 a.m. ET. An issue with MISO's renewable forecast service caused the total renewable forecast to drop from approximately 8 to 0 GW triggering shortage conditions resulting in VOLL prices for these intervals.
These intervals will be reviewed and corrected as applicable per section 40.2.18 of the MISO Tariff prior to finalization of ex-post LMPs for this operating day. MISO is also investigating a potential Market Implementation Error for these intervals. If determined, MISO will declare a Market Implementation Error with a notice posted on OASIS and appropriate price corrections will be implemented for the affected intervals within 13 calendar days from operating day 2/25/2025 per section 48.3.
