Supplier Diversity

MISO is committed to the establishment and development of mutually beneficial business relationships for the procurement of goods and services with diverse businesses. We actively seek to engage diverse businesses that offer quality, reliable and competitively priced goods and services. We continually take proactive steps to provide solid business opportunities for our diverse businesses, to maximize their participation in our procurement process.

A diverse business could be any member of a diverse community such as Women Owned, Veterans, Disabled persons, LGBTQ, and Minorities (defined as African American/Black, Hispanic/Latin American, Native American, Asian- Pacific, or Asian-Indian). We also recognize small businesses.

MISO's commitment to supplier diversity, along with our program's defined purpose, is outlined in a special statement from our chief financial officer and our vice president of human resources.
