Eric Miller is MISO’s vice president and chief information security officer and serves concurrently as the senior manager for critical infrastructure protection.
A veteran technology leader, Miller is responsible for MISO’s security and technology infrastructure strategy, execution and operations. This includes oversight of security controls and risk management, technology infrastructure and operations, and cloud initiatives.
Prior to joining MISO, Miller held mission critical technology and cybersecurity leadership roles at Ascension Health, Indiana Health Information Exchange, Computer Sciences Corporation and as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army.
Miller also holds multiple cybersecurity certifications as a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also specialized in architecture as an Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) and engineering as an Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP).
Beyond MISO, Miller is currently a Board Member for Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) and on the NERC Reliability and Security Technical Committee (RSTC). He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Master of Business Administration, as well as Johns Hopkins University where he earned a master’s degree in systems engineering.
