Nirav Shah serves as MISO's vice president and chief digital and information officer. In this role, he is responsible for technologies that support MISO’s strategic priorities, including our reliability and market imperatives, and leveraging existing and emerging business, data, digital and security ecosystems to drive better business outcomes. 

Before joining MISO, Shah was the chief information officer and vice president of IT at Republic Airways, where he was responsible for their digital transformation, operations, infrastructure and security. 

Prior to joining Republic Airways, he was head of applications development at OneAmerica Financial. Previously, he held many senior-level positions at Interactive Intelligence, which was acquired in 2016 by Genesys, a global leader in cloud customer experience and contact center solutions.

Shah recently completed his Chief Digital Officer program at Kellogg School of Management. He holds an MBA from Missouri State University and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He completed his Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He is also a ‘Best of Tech’ Mira Award winner and 2019 CTO of the Year honoree by TechPoint/Indiana Business Journal.

Shah currently serves on the Board of Directors for TechPoint, the United Way of Central Indiana, and Eleven Fifty Academy, an Indianapolis nonprofit that has an award-winning coding camp.
