Each year, MISO strives to provide a best-in-class internship program. Dedicated employees from across the company serve as intern managers, mentors, and buddies. Together they provide interns with meaningful, immersive work that impacts MISO’s business.

This year MISO’s internship program, and the people who run it, received special recognition. It comes from Indiana’s Institute for Workforce Development. Specifically, the organization’s Work and Learn Indiana (WLI) program. MISO received award nominations in three categories:

• Innovative Internship Program of the year
• Work-Based Learning Supervisor of the year
• Worked-Based Learner of the year

“We are humbled and honored by these nominations," said MISO Manager, David Beihl. “Working with our interns is always a privilege. And I always look forward to the innovation and new ideas they bring to MISO."
