In accordance with FERC Order 890 Attachment K, MISO will host a series of subregional planning meetings (SPM) to encourage an open and transparent planning process. Early in the process, stakeholders will participate in discussions of planning issues and proposals on a more local basis to discuss projects, issues and concepts that are potentially driving new transmission expansion on the grid.
